A defense official has revealed that the Ministry of Defence is actively looking into the possible threats posed by Chinese-made vehicles, while personnel have been advised to avoid discussing classified information in any vehicles.

In a recently aired appearance on a radio station, a defence minister commented on claims that MoD officials have been told not to discuss secret information while travelling in Chinese vehicles.
The minister stated that the MoD is “looking into” cars from China within its fleets, but emphasised that safety is a issue in every contemporary vehicles.
We have a fleet of thousands of vehicles in the MoD and Chinese ones account for a tiny fraction.
