The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the battle between spirituality and money, the winner is obvious for greed in Showalter's delightfully tacky film adaptation of the disgraced televangelist and her felon spouse. It's a spectacle of poor styling, excessive cosmetics and insincerity, yet Chastain succeeds to show the character as a sympathetic figure. October 14th, late night, on Film4
